This barrette is supposed to be for "fine to thick" hair. If your hair is not thick, do not buy this one. My hair is what I would consider average thickness, but the barrette slides down and looks awful after about 15 minutes of wear. I received my order sooner than I expected and it was packaged nicely, however, I believe the barrette is grossly overpriced.

I ordered this barrette in the mousseline (white) color and it's gorgeous. The picture does not do it justice. It has an opalescent sheen to it and looks really nice against dark hair. This barrette holds my thick hair, which many barrettes do not do. Definitely recommend!
