 Beautiful January 7, 2009
I bought this blockbuster for my daughter for Christmas and couldn't be more thrilled. The packaging is wonderful and she is amazed by the selection of colors. I would buy another one for her next year.

I gave this to one of my granddaugters and the other two granddaugters are already scheming to get it away from her so they can have it. It was well worth the money.  A lot of unfair criticism December 26, 2008
After reading most of the reviews, I think I should say at the beginning: no, there is NOT a large amount of makeup, the brushes ARE low-quality, and the case IS smaller than I expected. However, I don't know if I've ever seen the variety of makeup available in one set that is in this one, and the value was good. If your skin doesn't do well with powdery makeup, then this is not for you, but after seeking out a few people, Sephora products are known to be a bit more powdery anyway. I guess it depends on your complexion. My wife for one was thrilled with the set, and the shades she doesn't like, we simply won't buy again. I think this is an excellent way for a lady to experiment with different shades and looks. And for the record, I've never seen a supposed 'high-quality' make-up brush...only overpriced ones. Most of them are brittle and lose bristles.

I bought for my wife as a gift, and it was a big disappointment,its a very poor quality, its kind of powder and wont last, very cheap quality.

I bought for my wife and she loved the compact size and variety of shades. I bought thru amazon because it was FS. I was going to buy thru sephora but had to wait because of OOS so chose amazon.
Very Happy with purchase.
