Product Description Everyone who has seen it, touched it, smelled it - wants it. it is just that smell, that scent that is the mood that you would want to be in. From the blazing red harvest of the Italian December, this a thick, tangy, citrus-hued scent. A kind blend of the delicate flower, the rosy zest of the rind and the dark, juicy flesh that creates the ideal balance of sharp dryness and rich sweetness. Blended with the purest burning wax for hours of lingering freshness. Burn time: 35-45 hours.

LOVELY LONG LASTING FRAGRANCE December 17, 2006 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Don't ask me to pick a favorite scented candle from Red Flower - it's impossible. However, at the moment I tilt toward Italian Blood Orange. The scent is a sweet citrus; it's tangy, warm, perfect for these nippy winter days. One can almost taste the red, red fruit that grows in the Catania region of Italy.
Perhaps known only to the cognoscenti for the first year or two, Red Flower, which is located in NYC, opened in 1999 to offer organic flower teas and pure flower candles. Not just any candles, mind you, but these are topped with scented petals for use in the bath, a sachet or simply to place in a low bowl and enjoy. Each candle is accompanied by a flower match book.
It didn't take long for word to spread that these were some of the most richly scented candles to be found, housed in brightly colored presentation boxes.
Among the fragrances available are: Himalayan Larch - crisp, reminding one of a pine forest. Spanish Gardenia - seductive, warm, unmistakable Japanese Peony - think of a delicate blend of roses.........
And the list goes on. If there were ten stars available I'd send them all over to Red Flower. Most highly recommended!
