Product Description Laura Mercier's Translucent Pressed Setting Powder is formulated like the Loose Setting Powder but in an easy-to-carry compact with mirror. The oil-free powder won't build up or settle in lines or pores. 0.28 oz.

Great quality September 30, 2007 This is a translucent pressed powder that actually has a slight yellow tone to it in the pan, which is imperceptable on your skin. I am light olive (quite pale) and about an NC20 in MAC. This is a finely milled, sheer powder. It is best applied not swiped over the face, but patted lightly over makeup, or get a fluffy powder brush out to apply. I love the sponge applicator as it does not pick up too much product.
Perfect for Make-up Phobes with Extra Pale Skin! September 27, 2007 I had never had luck with a powder before, but at 29,was sick of looking like a grease ball in the summer ( I have normal to oily skin). I was drawn to the color:translucent- a gal afraid to look like a cake-face can handle a color like that! It is perfectly sheer, really evens out my extra pale skin-and if I am really "going for the gold" I put it on top of Philosophy "The Supernatural" poreless, flawless tinted spf15. The combo of these two products with a bit of lip gloss & mascara, is divine and looks so natural-like me-only the more perfect version!
LM loose powder May 23, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the worst powder! It too drying and settles in the lines. Also it has cornstarch which harbors bacteria and has a shelf-life. It also contains a few ingredients that are irritating/acneic to the skin.......
didn't like it. February 17, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
not fine enough. I've used Lancome for ages and don't know why I decided on this.....the texture isn't right-it settled into frown lines, the sponge is rough... It just didn't feel like a powder in this price range should. Back to Lancome Photogenic that's still the best pressed powder I've ever used.
The Best Power out there December 9, 2005 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is the best powder on the market. It goes on smooth and does not leave a flakey finish or look like you have powder face. It is the powder of makeup artists and I like translucent because I dont want to mix the color of a powder and the color of a foundation together. This way your foundation color is all you see.
