A Bit Too Sticky Sweet June 6, 2008 I'm a big fan of Lush soaps, but this one didn't do it for me. It was simply way too sticky and sweet for my liking. The scent of this soap is complex. While the name mentions honey I think it smells more like chocolate and caramel. I'm a fan of some of Lush's sweet scents (the creamy candy line, for example), but this is just a bit too much. I just don't feel clean washing with something that smells like gooey caramel. That said, if you love dessert scented bath products then I highly recommend giving this a try, as I suspect you'll love it. It's just a bit too much for me. The creamy texture is certainly nice, but I can't get over the smell.
Honey I lost the soap again... May 20, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Normally at our house, we threaten to wash the cats (they don't like water too much and will normally only peer curiously into the bathroom when I'm in the tub. Now and then they have played with bubbles), but this does have an amusing name.
I did think it was more like "Honey, I lost the soap in the tub again." This is one melting dream soap that can easily slip away into the depths of a luxurious lush bath. This soap is good with the Think Pink bath bomb and some of the Creamy Candy Bath bubble bar.
If you love this, you may also want to try Avowash (avocado and olive oil), Ooh La La (lavender) and Bohemian (lemon).
