There are actual herbs present and they float to the top with their great scents.I have gone back twice to order soaps, bath bubbles, and bath bombs, from the Lush site. The product is fun, lasting aroma, and high quality

I am a LUSH junkie. I love the products even though some are better than others. The confetti is the only drawback to this ball. I have an old house and therefore old plumbing. I fish out all the confetti after the bath. The scent is very romantic. My husband and I really enjoy this one.
Wonderful Bath Bomb - minus the confetti January 7, 2008

This bath bomb has an amazing scent (think lemon and grapes with Valentine candy hearts) and turns the bath water a totally fun Barbie-pink color. The essential oils are mosturizing, but not as much as the cocoa butter (perfect if you prefer a lighter mosturizer). I smelled soooo good for the rest of the day that I went back and purchased several more of these! The only think I would change is the confetti; I don't like having it floating around in the bath water. They did not stick to me or the tub (like some of the things in other Lush bombs) and they washed down the drain very easily, but I would prefer this bomb without the confetti. Other than that - I love it!

LUSH's bath ballistics don't normally produce bubbles, which is why this one is a good choice if you are in the mood for a bubble bath but still want the benefit of essential oils.
The "Champagne Supernova" is quite the party as it is filled with confetti. The orange oil makes you feel peaceful and happy while the lime oil is stimulating and refreshing. The only thing different besides the bubbles is that this ballistic takes longer to fizz away into the water.
You may want to add this when you start filling the tub with water so it has a chance to dissolve completely. Since this ballistic doesn't have any cocoa butter in it, you might want to use one of the body butters right after your bath. The one I tried tonight is
The Soft Touch Body Butter by LUSH which leaves you scented with a spicy vanilla and mango scent.
