Light bothers my eyes, go figure. So I ordered these eye masks for my occasional afternoon nap. I sleep on my back, so I was looking for an eye mask without that annoying bump in the back - natch. This one fits the bill perfectly, I almost slept through dinner! Luckily my husband was cooking that night (what a guy)- sorry ladies, I didn't get him from Amazon.com :)

My husband and I both had these for transatlantic flights, and they worked extremely well - way better than the masks provided by the airline.

I myself have to juggle working out at a gym, a security job working the graveyard shift and going to college so its not surprising if I sometimes go to sleep at 8AM rather than 8PM and these eye masks have been life savers by helping to block out that annoying sunlight and even the LEDs from my electronics so its helped me catch some much needed shut eye.
Final thoughts
They are surprisingly sturdy considering all the moving I do when I sleep, they block 90% of the light which is more than enough for me, they are VERY comfortable even with that little plastic thingy that holds the string together and they are easy to store away so all in all a 5 star item that anyone who has a hard time sleeping should buy.

I bought this mask for a cross country trip, but now I sleep with it every night. I find it very comfortable. Nothing gets hung in my hair and it does not press against my eyelids. A little light does get in around the bridge of my nose.
