Depends on the temperature September 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The other two reviews here are polar opposites, so let me explain. I have been using this lipliner for about 3 years. I have no makeup skills, so I am thrilled that it comes in a tube type form so that I don't need a sharpener.
The colors all work very well for my skintone, and when used, my lipstick stays on for several hours longer. Now as to the application:
I keep my make up in my purse, so it goes through several temperature changes. When it is warm to hot out, this stuff goes on like a dream. If you've been in the AC a while, or it's cool out... this stuff goes on like a crayola. Also, if you let it melt (yes I'm guilty) it will never go on right again, even if you hold it in front of the AC vent in your car on full blast. You might as well chuck it. Now that I have learned this, I am much more careful about where my makeup sits for long periods of time and have been able to keep my lipliners functioning until they run out.
One change I would make would be to make the top clear like their eyeliner is so that you can tell when you're running low. One stick of this stuff tends to last me right around 1.5 to 2 months when worn on workdays only. If you live in a frigid area, I would look elsewhere. If you live in Florida, don't leave it in the car. Other than that, this is a pretty good product.
Clinique Quickliner is the best! July 31, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This lip liner is by far the easiest lip liner I have ever used. It glides on gently as opposed to a pencil you have to sharpen. It doesn't make a mess or require a sharpener like the traditional lip pencil either. There are a wide array of colors to wear with many different shades of lipstick. Before this I wouldn't wear lip liner at all. Thanks Clinique!!! I also like your Quick eyeliner and your eyeliner with the brush applicator.
Great Stuff December 21, 2005 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Personally I love it, I use the lipblush as liner and lipstick for daytime. Can't live without it.
it just doesn't work.... :( August 12, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
i bought this lip liner 3 times and i was always disappointed because no matter how hard you try to put it on your lips, it just wont glide. you will have to rub it hard on your lips to line em. clinique liners are the worst one in the market.
