My favorite September 24, 2008 This is my absolute favorite lipstick. There is no color more flatting on so many skin tones than this one. It is amazing. Cant live without it.
I Love, Love, Love it!!!! August 3, 2008 I initially got it as a free sample from the Clinique counter and I have been hooked ever since. It's my best kept secret at the office, and everyone compliments my shade. Another great product from Clinique!!!
Well-deserved hype June 22, 2008 Well, I have to say, this totally lives up to the hype. Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Black Honey is a holy grail products for so many women, and after years of not jumping on the bandwagon, I finally decided to give it a try. I was absolutely thrilled with the results. The lipstick goes on smooth and light, and feels fantastic on my lips. The color looks great- it comes out a light, sheer red/purple on my lips. Looks great, feels great- this is a great daytime lipstick. For nighttime I'd want something a bit darker and more dramatic (this really is sheer). I have to say, this has now become an essential for me.
My favorite lipstick for the last 12 years! June 12, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This has it all - great color, soft texture, no strange taste or scent. It's nice and sheer, a tiny bit glossy, perfect for people who aren't into precision lip painting and constant mirror checking. And the black honey color is much, much more versatile than the name suggests. Looks good with everything!

This is a fantastic lipstick. The color, black honey, looks almost black in the tube, but layers on nicely, from a light tint to a deeper shade, but it's not overwhelming in the least. It's sheer and it goes on smoothly, like a nice gloss, but not as greasy. It just feels good on the lips. The color would probably look good on just about anyone, and the shade actually whitens the teeth a bit by contrast, which is a nice bonus. On top of that there's no smell, so you put it on and aren't conscious of anything except softer lips.
