Best Thing Since Sliced Bread. I am serious. May 1, 2008 This mascara is probably the best product I have ever used. Not only is the packaging gorgeous (it gives me the tingles when I touch that smooth bottle), the product itself works like magic. I have used other mascaras before and I must say, this is by far the best I have tried. Dior show works well but it gives a look that is a bit over the top for day wear. And since I am not a big fan of the thick overdone eyelash effect, this mascara is perfect for me. when I put it on, I get that "completely natural/luscious/clump-free/what? I don't have fake lashes on" look. Usually, I wear eyeliner and mascara. But with this product, I don't even bother applying the eyeliner because Chanel Inimitable makes my eyes pop. Can you tell that I am in love? with Inimitable? Believe me, I know how steep the price is. But ladies, it's worth the money. Having a mascara that works so smoothly on the first go, lasts all day, and doesnt' have bits falling into your eyes is totally worth that $30! I usually don't buy beauty products on impulse. I do a lot of research before investing in a piece. After gathering all the info I collected on Chanel Inimitable, I compared it to that of Fiberwig, Dior Show, and Blink. At the end, I knew Chanel would be the one. Who can go wrong with Chanel?
If you don't own one yet, go out and get it! If you do own it, you are one lucky girl!
I LIKE it a lot September 27, 2007 This mascara goes on without clumping or spider lashes, feels very light and wears VERY VERY well. It does not seem to smudge even in high humidity. That being said, it doesn't thicken as much as I would like. I have figured out that i have fairly thick lashes to begin with but I really do like when my lashes have a bit more volume. It does lengthen well with a bit of curl. I bought several mascaras to try and this is the only one I didnt' return. I would buy it again if only for how well it stays on my lashes.
Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery! September 9, 2007 Chanel's Inimitable Mascara in Noil Black is a great alternative to some of the other mascara's you may have tried. It stays on without creating the dreaded racoon look, is easy on sensitive eyes, and best of all - the special brush (much like Cover Girl Lash Exact Waterproof Mascara 925 Very Black) - does a great job of separating out your lashes and making them longer and fuller.
To love or not to love? June 22, 2007 This mascara, where do I start? It very nicely legenthens and seperates my eyelashes. However, it does not thicken them the way I wish it would. If it did, this would be the PERFECT mascara! If you have thick lashes, then this produce would work great. My eyelashes are already on the long side, so thick is what I am looking for. Also, beware this is a brown black and not as dark as I like either. (I am sure they sell black too, just not on amazon)
Really Works! June 14, 2007 I spend a ridiculous amount of time in the morning trying to apply mascara without leaving clumps and then cleaning errant mascara off my eyelids, so when I heard about Chanel's new mascara brush, I had to try it. I still cannot believe I spent this much on mascara, but it really works and has saved me a lot of time. This mascara separates and lifts the lashes very well, stays in place, does not look or feel heavy, and cleans off easily in the shower.
