 nice, but won't buy again August 4, 2008
PROS: gives a natural-looking glow to cheeks and lips
a little goes a long way, so one stick will last a long time
blends in nicely when using a little at time (apply with a clean
finger, not straight out of the tube!)
CONS: it really does smell like crayons
easy to overdo = clown cheeks on fair-skinned folk
color fades after a few hours

Tarte Natural Swirl Cheek Stain I am in my late 50's and, while I like some color in my cheeks, had never used a cheek stain. Afraid I would look like a clown. Quite the opposite! I'm hooked on this product! Looks very natural on my very fair skin, add more for more color, easy to use, doesn't stain pillow, wonderful. Like better than my powders. Only 4 stars because I'm afraid to put it in my purse in the heat of summer.
Orginal stains better? July 23, 2008
A Sephora worker put this on me and I loved the color! It's a pretty pink that doesn't look TOO pink on my tan, yellow-undertoned skin. The only drawbacks are the smell (to me, it smells a little like crayons) and you really have to get a hang of blending well since the formula is more stiff than the original Tarte cheek stains. I'm thinking of exchanging my Full Blossom for Tickled or Blushing Bride just because those seem easier to blend and smell better. This definitely has great staying power though...I put it on after moisturizer then put some BE Mineral Veil over it and it lasts all day!

I love this! I have never used anything other than a powder blush until now and I don't know if I ever will again. I love this product! It's natural but enhanced and girly. I also use it on my lips so when my gloss comes off while eating or whatever, I still have some color on my lips until I can reapply something. My mom also loves this and had to have it too. It looks great on all ages!

I always found the original formulation to be a bit sticky. Not sticky enough that I stopped using it, of course. The pink-cheeked awesomeness that these products create is wonderful. However, this "natural" formulation is as greasy as the other kind was sticky. Not too greasy that I'd stop using it, but it is vaguely annoying. After about six hours, my skin has absorbed it. In the end, I suppose I'd rather have a few natural oils sitting atop my skin than wierd chemicals. I'm sure you feel the same.
