I use this in conjunction with the pencil Eye Bright and it cools the skin around my eyes as it brightens me up. I can definitely see a difference when I use it as opposed to not. I'll buy it again and recommend it to others!

You know what I mean... it's 4 o'clock...you're fading... can't wait to get out the door... you take a look in the mirror... AUrghhh. OOh la Lift is like a nap in a bottle. Just make a few dots under your eyes and blend. Ahhhhh... You look more awake, even if you don't feel it. I love this and keep it in my desk for such emergencies. It's a must-have.

Benefit Cosmetics runs on the concept that no matter what the price or ingredients, catchy names and desirable packaging will draw consumers toward their products. This is true with Ooh La Lift, which they promise has the ability to reduce puffiness and dark circles under the eyes, problems causing so many women to seek a Holy Grail of Brightness and Reduction.
Ooh La Lift is about the size of a tube of mascara, and has a silver-capped wand with a fuzzy lip-gloss applicator. The outside of the bottle is heavily textured and feels like light spackle, which is unusual for makeup packaging. The actual stuff inside is a pink so close to white it's enough to make you think you'll wind up with that 60's highlighter look all day.
The actual "de-puffer" itself is supposedly made with raspberry extract and other mystical ingredients that will cause pores to shrink and darkness to retreat. The substance is watery enough, however, that it blends in too quickly to seem to do anything. I sincerely doubt that anything inside the bottle will function as a lifter or tucker--those kinds of cosmetics, if not prescriptive, are usually closer to $100, not $20.
I have very pale skin and found that it gave me a slightly pinkish look for a few minutes when I was getting ready for work. It was shiny, but did not decrease the bluish-purple area in the inner corner of my eyes.
This was a tempting purchase for me and it will be a tempting purchase for many women. It's housed in pretty packaging with a nice font and is a pale pale shade of ballerina pink that suggests something miraculously feminine. But don't waste money--save it for treatments that are proven to work or that your doctor suggests. If you have money to burn, it's something cooling to spread around your brow bone and nothing more.

As someone who loves a good cry (at a book, movie, oreo commercial) this is the only thing that will get my eyes back from that puffed up look that makes everyone ask "what's wrong?" As others stated here, don't apply so much that you see the color. And even though the box says to use it over makeup, I had better results using Ooh-La-Lift first, and then dabbing a bit of concealer over it at the inside corner of my eye and blending out. It makes the eye look more open, and de-puffs as well. I also find it helps with the upper lid puff too. I don't know that it can reverse genetics, but it certainly can reverse a late night out or a tear-jerker DVD.

I bought this product being skeptical but it actually works. As with ALL beauty products, what works for you may not work as well for someone else. I wouldn't recommend this for DARk circles but definitely for under eye puffiness, especially if you wake up early in the a.m. without any time to put concealer on before you head out the door. I am almost done with my Ooh La Lift and I am swishing the wand around in the bottle for every last bit! This is the only beauty product that I can justify spending $20 on.
