GOOD PRODUCT, WAS ONCE USED BY ALL THE GREAT HOLLYWOOD STARS. WHICH FIRST CAUGHT MY
ATTENTION. I LIKE THE PRODUCT, BUT I MUST SAY THAT IT TAKES A LITTLE GETTING USED TO. WHEN
YOU GET IT DON'T TRY ONE TIME AND GIVE UP. YOU REALLY HAVE TO WORK THE BRUSH INTO THE
PRODUCT AND SPEND THE TIME BRUSHING THE LASHES. THIS IS NOT FOR MOMS ON THE GO, OR
ANYONE THAT NEEDS TO SLEEP IN ANOTHER 10-15 MINUTES IN THE MORNING. I LIKE IT ON WEEK
ENDS WHEN I CAN SPEND THE TIME, (MEANWHILE I'M ADDICTED TO YSL'S VOLUME MASCARA COLOR
#4 AND #5).
ALSO, LONGCILS MASCARA REALLY DEFINES THE EYES, I FIND THAT I DONT NEED TO LINE AFTERWARDS.
I USED TO USE THE TRISH MCEVOY EYELINER BRUSH DIPPED IN SHADOW, NICE EFFECT. HOWEVER USING
THIS BRAND, THERE'S NO NEED. SO THAT IS A PLUS WITH THE EXTRA TIME IT TAKES.

This is good mascara. Many of us are of course used to those mascara that will make your lashes look long and with great volume, honestly - unnatural. This mascara is good for 2 reasons: it's natural and you don't have to worry about putting on toxins every day, and second- once you learn how to apply it, your eyelashes will look nice and natural, and at the same time will give you great look. One advise - do not moisture the brush too much, use just a little bit of water, otherwise you will end up with wet-like skinny lushes and you'll hate it. Be patient. It took me a few times, but after that i like it a lot. One more thing- I use eyelash curler just before applying this mascara, and it makes it even greater. So if you are one of those who doesn't have perfect eyelashes, get a curler and believe me, it will make a huge difference. Good luck

This is the best mascara I have ever used. It takes a little longer to apply (about twice as long) as non-cake mascara but it is well worth it. It comes with a brush applicator, not a "spoolie" like you find in tube mascara. I was afraid it wouln't be tear or water proof but it stays on much better than any other mascara I've tried - and I've tried them all!!! This stuff does not smudge or anything, but it comes off easily with eye makeup remover or even regular face cleanser.
It is a bit expensive but it will last much longer than normal mascara and you don't have to worry about tossing it after a certain date.
Never use tube mascara again! April 30, 2007

This cake mascara is perfectly formulated. Once you get the hang of adding just enough water and stirring it up with the brush (be sure to blot it before applying!), this mascara goes on smooth, dark, and beautiful, with no clumping whatsoever. Very natural-looking...
I'll never go back to using "conventional" tube mascara again! I've been using this product for a couple of years after reading about it in a magazine, and I would highly recommend it to everyone.
The end result is definitely worth the slight extra cost and the additional effort in blending the product for each use.
