Gorgeous color August 7, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a blonde haired, blue-eyed gal who has pale-neutral skin. It is difficult to find a bronzer that doesn't look too orange or muddy brown on me. This bronzer (in Blondes) is perfect! Absolutely beautiful, natural color with a bit of shimmer to it. I have sensititve skin too, and this does not break me out. I would suggest using a nice big fluffy brush to apply (I use my Smashbox powder brush). I should also mention that my best friend is a brunette and has a medium skin tone, and the "Brunette" version of this bronzer looks fantastic on her. Yes, this product is expensive, but it will make you look healthy and tan in a natural way; who can put a price on that?? ;-)
The Best Bronzer July 8, 2006 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
If you can only buy one item of makeup this summer,it should be this bronzer! This lightly fragranced pressed powder comes housed in the same round (mirrored) amber-colored compact as the original Guerlain Terracotta bronzers, but that's where the similarities end. What makes this bronzer so good is that it's not one uniform tan color, like every other bronzer out there;it's a mosaic of different shades, ranging from sparkly bronze, tan,as well as a paler shimmery highlighter. You swirl them together with a big fluffy brush and it gives your complexion the most amazing, radiant sunny glow.I own both shades, and though they're named "blondes" and "brunettes",you should buy blondes if your fairer and brunettes if you're darker-complected.It really has nothing to do with haircolor.Blondes is a mix of soft tan tones with a pink-toned highlighter, while brunettes is a mix of richer bronze tones with a warm-toned highlighter. Both will last you a long time and best of all, this is one of the few bronzers that doesn't break me out.Worth every penny!
