Product Description Monoi de Tahiti oil conjures the luxury and tradition of French Polynesia in Nars Body Glow. The bud of the tiare flower is soaked in the finest coconut oil and then blended for a translucent chocolate shimmer.

Pretty But Strong Scent Overhwhelms September 24, 2008 I bought this product knowing that it would add a glow to my body, and it absolutely does. It looks great on my shoulders and cleavage when I want to go out and look sun-kissed. The problem is that when I go out, I want to wear perfume and you cannot with this product on. The scent is just too overwhelming.
While it is a pleasant scent - it starts to get on your nerves a few hours later. And when it came down to choosing the glow or smelling great - I had to pick smelling yummy - and that's why this product now sits in my cabinet. I probably will not use it again - but it cost so much I just didn't have the heart to throw it out.
Not what I expected August 28, 2007 NARS Body Glow does what it says...gives you a slight shimmer and sparkle. Only two negatives I've found: 1) it solidifies easily (just being on my bathroom counter it turned into a solid.) 2) it's a little oily and makes me shinier than I'd like. Other than this, it smells good and looks good on shoulders and cheeks.

Not enough "glow" for a Dark Darling Diva February 10, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I heard good news about Body Glow so I didn't mind shelling out $55 for it, but I was sorely disappointed. I'm a Darling Dark Diva so the bronzer doesn't show up much except for slight shine from the oil. I had to add MAC powder bronzer to get the shimmery effect I expected. Also, the oil's shine disappears after about 20 minutes, but if you sprinkle a little water on the "bronzed" areas then it comes back for a while, so you don't have to keep reapplying Nars. Despite the lack of bronzer, I love the scent and the way it makes my skin feel so if I use it again, it will be for those reasons.
Made for lounging on posh beaches May 5, 2005 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
First off, it's not a self-tanner -- it's a body glow. Meaning it adds a bit of shimmer to the skin, a bit of bronze color, but it isn't going to work to fake a tan.
That's fine, though, because sometimes just adding a bit of shimmer to your shoulders is all you'd like. Think of it as a highlighter for the body; apply it just to shoulders, calves, areas that you'd like to glow a little bit more. If you apply it all over, it does have a tendancy to collect on elbow creases, knees, etc.
It smells lovely, just a touch of tuberose and peony. Texture is silky.
Pros: Subtle, pretty shimmer and shine. Nice smell. Excellent texture. Looks very natural.
Cons: Large container doesn't travel well. In cold temperatures it tends to congeal and is tough to get out of the bottle, (but that can be fixed by soaking th bottle in a sink of hot water for a few minutes.)
