WOW July 19, 2008 I am a fair skinned hispanic and suffer from dark circles underneath my eyes. I've tried soooooo many products. This product is the best by far! It doesn't leave the skin cakey or too white. I use the medium color and it blends in perfectly. I mostly use my finger to apply but the brush he sells is really good too. It's supposed to actually make the product last longer because you don't have to uses as much on a brush than on a finger.
Not up to the task, not for me May 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've spent a lot of money on concealers, and this one turned out to be another disappointment. I am middle-aged, but not that lined. I needed something to cover dark under-eye circles, and this texture is entirely too "wet", thin and light-textured for me. It collects in creases. Even on the inner eye, it slides around and doesn't stay put.
Best Ever March 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have problems with rosacea and some age spots as well. I haven't been able to find a concealer until now that is heavy enough but not too heavy. This concealer blends well and lasts. I went to the Vincent Longo website to most accurately choose my "color". I use Bare Minerals and I just dab this foundation on top of the concealer in some of the worst areas and it sets beautifully. Worth every dollar.
The BEST concealer out there December 17, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've used a lot of concealers, but this is the best one I've ever tried. For those with really dark eye circles who don't want to look like they're wearing greasepaint under their eyes, this is the product to buy. It goes on smoothly, isn't sticky, and doesn't leave weird looking creases on the skin or settle into fine lines. Also, it is long-lasting and doesn't have any annoying smells to it. A big plus for me is that this company is cruelty-free. (Note: For smaller red or dark spots, I would recommend a liquid tube concealer like Aveda's that can target very small areas, but for large spots, the V.L. concealer is the best.)
For most complexions, the medium colour works very well under the eyes; I also like to use the V.L. light concealer colour and blend it with Origins foundation. It creates a very radiant look to the skin.
Didn't do what I needed July 17, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I had a hard time making this concealer work for my dark circles. (Part of that was the color - my perfect color would have been in between two different shades, and I wasn't about to spend over $50 just to get the right shade!) Because my undereye skin is a bit dry, and tends to be a little bumpy, I wanted something that would go on smoothly and not call attention to what I wanted to hide. This concealer didn't cover well, and the texture felt almost a bit too creamy (particularly when worn with moisturizer underneath - the effect was almost shiny). Perhaps if I had set it with powder, I would have liked it more. Overall, though, it just didn't work for me, and I'd recommend trying it in a store before purchasing. I ended up returning it and buying Becca's two-sided compact, which works really well for me.
