 DON'T buy at the Mall Kiosk - well, maybe... November 18, 2008
I bought the kit for my wife at the Mall kiosk after the guy 'accosted' us for a demo. The buffing block was very effective (although I can do just as well with a three-grit polishing stick from Squadron Shop), but the big selling point was the cuticle oil and the hand lotion. What closed the deal was when he threw in a second kit for $10 - in effect, selling us two sets for $60! Now THAT was worth the price, I thought.
But I'll tell you right now, if you don't get the second set for $10 offer, keep walking.

I was extremely disappointed with this product. Although my nails looked shiny, I didn't have the protection of nail polish to keep my nails from breaking. When I decided to polish my nails, I found that the nail polish began to wear off later the same day because of the slickness of the buffed nails. I paid $50 for the kit at a mall kiosk, a total waste of money.

Dead Sea Nail Care Manicure Kit - Nail Buffer, File, Lotion, - Professional Nails in 5 Minutes!
I received this kit for Christmas and can't begin to express my diappointment with it. I gave it one star only because I didn't want readers to think I forgot to rate it if I gave it zero stars. Most of the products in the kit don't hold up. There were problems as soon as I took the kit out of the package. First the sides peeled off the Emory stick. I didn't concern myself too much because emory boards are cheap and easy to find. Then the silk surface of the buffing block wore completely off within a month. I had only used it 4 or 5 times. The clincher is that you can't buy just the buffing block. In order to get another buffing block, I have to buy the whole kit for $50.00 even though I've barely made a dent in the cuticle oil and the hand cream. The cream left my hands nice and soft but I saw nothing special about it that rates the cost. My opinion of the cuticle oil is the same as for the hand cream. I really did love the way this product made my nails look and feel so smooth and shiney, especially since I don't have the time to mess around with nailpolish, which only gets destroyed in the lab anyway, but I can't recommend it. If you are considering buying this product, don't waste your money. In the end all you end up with is cuticle oil and handcream and you can pay a lot less for the same thing at the drug store.

I love this product. my nails and cuticles have never looked so good. it smells great and there are no harmful chemicals like the salon uses. plus, unlike the salon, my nails feel healthier. The lotion works great and smells good too. After i treat my nails i feel like i just went to the spa and i feel relaxed.
