Product Description who: Are your feet best described as frightening? Diamancel makes the buffers of choice for those sporting calluses, corns or hardened heels. what: Diamancel Foot Files are nickel-coated flexible fiberglass files, electroplated with industrial grade diamond chips, so they rarely (if ever) wear out. The Diamancel Conqueror is an amazingly effective diamond-sided rasp that easily buffs away corns, calluses and other rough spots. The genius behind Diamancel designed the Conqueror to replace the conventional blades used in spa and salon pedicures. Easy and safe to use, this professional strength file uses diamond dust to quickly slough away dead skin cells (no matter how tough). It's an incredible way to keep even the most frazzled feet soft between pedicuring sessions. The diamancel #11 the tough buffer is a bigger paddled, soft-handled buffer that smoothes, buffs, refinishes and fully refines your feet. note: If you plan to 'double file' (use more than one Diamancel Foot file), use your diamancel before your Tough Buffer. If you plan on going 'single file', we recommend the all-purpose Tough Buffer. when: Use Diamancel's Foot Files before you shower or bathe because they buff better on DRY feet. (They are like sandpaper... which works better on dry wood, except they're diamond-sided.) where: Use your Diamancel Foot Files to buff away dry and cracked heels, top-of-the toe corns and to smooth over other tough areas. Want some equally great files for manicuring your hands? Diamancel's Nail and Finger-Callus Files are just as fabulous. why: Because diamonds are (almost) forever. Once you're tried Diamancel, other files just fall short.

Great value and wonderful product December 12, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It is so easy to use that I have been able to go much longer between pedicures, so in fact I saved a lot of money by ordering this product. I keep it in the shower and use it everyday. No sign of wear yet.
I highly recommend this buffer!
suprising good November 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i fist saw this item on the "in style "magazine . I didn't purchase straight aways coz the price, but then i think why don't i spend some money on a good item instead of spend money on the not so good item .
what i can say is , it is worth it . .the handle is really comfortable .every thing just feel so good .

In one session, my horribly dried, cracked, and pitted heals were restored to their long ago smooth condition. This device effortlessly removes and sloughs off dead skin. I've tried other buffers, files, and lotions, and nothing ever really put a dent in things. I thought I might need medical treatment (or at least an expensive visit to a spa) to remedy things.
Trust me, the Diamancel #11 Tough Buffer is all you'll need. Now, I just wish they made something for other areas.
Spendy, but WORTH IT! December 8, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I saved up for this purchase: I was not disappointed. Does a GREAT job ~~~ quit wasting your money on cheap creams, buffers, pumice stones like I did and TAKE THE PLUNGE. It does in a few days what a cheap buffer does in about 1-2 weeks, and what creams do over even a longer period of time (requiring both your diligence AND patience). I am SO GLAD I no longer have to make an effort to remember AND be able stay awake long enough every night to go through that stupid lotion + socks ritual ;)
Think this is outrageously expensive? Think again! July 9, 2006 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Rarely -- all TOO rarely -- are items priced at the top of the line *truly* deserving of their price & position, but the Diamancel Tough Buffer *is* one of them (& I say that as a compulsive comparison shopper & clipper of coupons who will wait months, if necessary, to purchase something at a sale price!).
Two summers ago I spent my entire summer in sandals. My feet were happy, but my heels & the outer edges of my soles developed calluses *so* thick that they could fairly have been called "hooves"! As cooler weather approached, I realized that my feet required conscientious tending in order to restore them to a state where my D.H. would want to resume playing footsies with them on cool winter nights. I therefore began trying to erode my thick calluses with pumice & various cheap buffers & slathered my feet in tube after tube of foot treatments. This resulted in marginal improvement, but *so* slowly that I nearly despaired of ever fully excavating the softer skin lurking beneath the horny veneer! Then a friend recommended the Diamancel Tough Buffer (& "Pretty Feet & Hands" moisturizer) -- & I made more progress in restoring my feet to their former tender glory in the following 8 days than I'd managed to make with cheap buffers & pumice stones in the preceding 8 weeks!
The Diamancel tough buffer efficiently "sands" away dead skin, then rinses off quickly & completely under running water. Is the surface really made of diamonds? I don't know, I just know that it really, really works really, really well!
When D.H. complimented me, whilst playing footsies a few nights later, on the recovered softness of my feet, I casually mentioned the Diamancel buffer & its ostensibly outrageous price. Since he's even cheaper than I am, I braced myself for a storm of protest, but he only observed -- mildly -- that I'd probably wasted several times more on ineffective tools & products than the price of the Diamancel Tough Buffer. When my D.H. is right, he's right!
I've been using the buffer at least once a week for a couple of years now & it still works as well as it did the day I bought it & doesn't yet show any sign of wear. I therefore suspect that I will be using it for another 10-20 years at this rate, which would make it one of the most *economical* personal care purchases of my life. And if you're in the market for a nail file, check out the Diamancel nail files, which also work beautifully, appear never to wear out & are available here at Amazon as well (at least they are as I'm typing this).
