I always used those brushes that come with the make-up, but compared to these Rolls Royce of makeup brushes, those disposable ones are like a beat-up Chevy Nova. My boyfriend bought them for a Christmas present two years ago--it must have been when they first came out. I received so many compliments on my makeup after I started using them. The travel case is nice to stow them in a drawer, and great for travel, and they give you space to fill it with additional brushes. I wish there were a larger powder brush and a lip brush. You can buy those separately. Laura Mercier makes a brush cleanser now, but using gentle soap and water is fine. They are still in great condition.
