Customer Reviews: Quite amazing stuff for dark circles and puffiness... December 1, 2008 I was flabbergasted when I saw the price for this tiny little jar of eye cream - but the saleslady behind the La Prairie counter insisted it was a "miracle" cream for the eyes, raving about it nonstop. Well, after plunking down the money, I'm glad to say she was right. When I have lots of puffiness and discoloration under my eyes (usually after a bout of late nights and not enough sleep), this is the first thing I reach for. Very light in texture, a small amount noticeably decreases my puffiness and evens out the color under my eyes, and somehow it also "brightens" that area, giving it a faintly gleaming, very smooth effect (thus the name "Radiance," I'm guessing...) I don't want to know what kinds of chemicals are in the cream to have such an effect, but I do know this is the one product that works for me every time. It costs an arm and a leg, but it makes a visible difference and actually does what it advertises. Surprise, surprise! If I could find a much cheaper but equally good product, I wouldn't be using La Prairie. So far, no luck. By the way - I googled it online and found the cream for a bit less than what's listed here (don't pay $290 -- that seems plain ridiculous).
