decent product, expensive, small February 14, 2008
I've tried many different products for facial moisturizer. I always choose one with SPF (never leave home without SPF). Of my favorites have been Anthony Logistics (for normal to oily skin) and Lab Series (daily moisture defense lotion with SPF 15). I decided to give Jack Black a chance because I see it everywhere, and I liked the color of the bottle (honesty).
Of all 3 products, this was the smallest bottle. The pump dispenser doesn't dispense much product. I tried 3 pumps and my face was still a bit dry. I think 4 might be the magic number.
The smell was excellent. It was manly and clean, refreshing, reminded me of a throwback smell to my father's era (but more modern).
The product did not leave my skin greasy or wet; it absorbed very quickly. One of my favorite things about the Anthony product is that it leaves the face visibly healthy and moist for 10-20 minutes before compeletely absorbing... The Jack Black product had less residual "shine" to it.
