This is a very gentle yet effective way to exfoliate skin with absolutely no damaging abrasiveness.
The consistency of the product is grainy rather than heavy with hard granules. Some other exfoliators have been simply too harsh, so that when I rub for the stated amount of time it almost feels like I'm rubbing pebbles into my skin.

Micro is the operative word here - it soothes and smooths at the same time
