 Great case, but needs a better shoulder strap. December 1, 2008
I just ordered, quickly received, and used the Sephora metro train case. It is sturdy and has enough room to hold makeup, brushes, combs, a small mirror, and makeup remover.
The only problem is the plastic clips on the shoulder carry strap. The case is heavy and the flimsy plastic clips that snap the shoulder strap onto the metal D-rings on the case immediately broke, sending the case crashing to the floor. Fortunately, the case is sturdy enough to withstand the impact and the locks held it shut so the makeup didn't fly across the room, but this case definitely needs a carry strap with metal clips--not cheap plastic.
I advise holding it by the handle and not bothering with the strap. Or buy a different shoulder strap.

I love this thing so much, I used to just throw tons and tons of my makeup and stuff into a bag and I could never find anything. I love the fact that I can be organized and keep my makeup in a cute lil' case at the same time. I use this thing so much, I don't know where I'd be without it. I'm such a glamourista and always gotta be looking good. I bring it with me when I travel and always have it in the car. It's a really durable and hasn't shown any signs of wear so far. This is just simply a great case.

Once upon a time, my cosmetics were all heaped together in one very large metal tin... Sure, the tin was inexpensive, but I wasted precious time rifling through a large quantity of product every morning.
I decided to take action! This case may seem like a big investment, but for those with makeup addictions as severe as mine, it is a necessity. Now my vast collection is perfectly organized and everything I need is at my fingertips.
The case has six "tiered" compartments that are lipstick length, and three larger compartments at the bottom. The bottom compartments are adjustable, and quite deep, to accommodate larger items. The detachable shoulder strap may not be necessary for most, but the top handle is so nice to have, as the case is easy to pick up and hide away. My bathroom countertop has never been so neat!
