 Didn't work for me November 27, 2008
I have been using the red-light Tanda religiously for the past 3 and a half weeks as per the instructions and see no difference whatsoever. My skin is in good condition to begin with - I get microdermabrasions a few times a year but have some lines and sagging. I am 53 and look about 10 years younger. I was very disappointed with this device. I tried the NuFace microcurrent device for the first time this week and saw (and felt) effects within the first hour of using it. If you are looking for help with wrinkles, tightening or sagging, I would definitely go for the NuFace device even though it is more expensive - it actually seems to do something!

I bought my Tanda at Sephora. I have been using it nightly for 3 weeks and I can see a difference. I looked into photofacial at a local cosmetic "surgery" center. And they wanted $5000 for a "series of 8 treatments." I'm sure the professional treatments are better then the home version, just by my common sense judgement. But, since I can't afford that I thought I'd give Tanda a try. My main skin issues are dark spots on my neck,from early sun exposure, and fine lines around my lips and eyes. After using it per directions, with the serum that comes with the kit, I can see the areas on my neck are about 50% lighter. I see very little difference around my mouth, I can see a little improvement around my eyes. The directions say to use it everyday for a month and then a few times a week. So I will update my review in a couple of weeks with any further, or not further, changes. So far I am glad I bought the product and hope to continue to see changes, espically in the neck area, as I have tried prescription creams and other OTC things for years and this is the 1st results I have seen.

Another week down and I can see even more difference. The dark spots are lighter, and fine lines are less visable. It still seems to be making improvements in teh overall skin tone. I'm happy with my purchase!

I'm an Esthetician, and I've been certified in LED's, the blue light isn't going to do much. You want the red LED, it still is able to clear the acne, inflammation, and still be able to stimulate collegen. I've used the red LED, and it works wonders. It even heals your wounds, 50% faster. It works on the lifesource of the cell, the mitochondria, and helps repair it. Too bad they aren't selling the LED's with the higher nm (measerment for strength), because it's been known to heal broken bones at 900nm's. I know they do sell it certain places, but you have to make sure they come with a warranty, first off, then also check the prices. They can get very expensive. Do your reasearch with any company as always.

I bought this product through Sephora.com for $ 275.00. I bought this product more for acne rather than wrinkles. Sephora does not offer the blue light as of yet which has acne bacteria killing properties. I do not use this system religiously, perhaps 2-3 times a week and I have seen a marked improvement on my acne. The first week, I used it everyday and my acne cleared up and healed a whole lot quicker than usual. For the first time in a couple decades my skin is finally clearing up!
Prior to using this product I would routinely get microdermabrasion treatments, take antibiotics pills and creams, use Retin A, and take birth control. Nothing has worked and I am anxiously waiting to purchase the blue light. Reading all the other reviews it may not be for everyone. I know that it is working because I have had people comment on how much clearer my skin looks. My face is glowing more than ever and I have had people comment on that as well.
I think this is worth the money compared to all the money I have already spent to improve my skin. I have already stopped my microdermabrasion treatments and I do not see my skin lapsing back to my old pimply self. I think it is worth the try and if anything you can always resell it on amazon. For those with deep wrinkles, I would not expect a miracle.

I would like to say this product works but I think I have caused more stress and wrinkles to my skin due to their lack of customer service. I purchased the product at a local Sephora (I was so excited I couldn't wait for it to come in the mail!), however no one at Sephora knew what I was asking for. I ended up finding it on my own and explaining to two sales associates what I had learned about Tanda. When I went home and opened the product I was disappointed to find only the red led light....and that Sephora ONLY offered an additional red led light. A Blue light (the one that serves acne and pigment) cannot be found anywhere....and no one at Sephora seems to know what the product even is! I have contacted Tanda 3 times and not a single response has been given on where I can purchase a blue led light, or even a confirmation that someone will respond to me. It is maddening. I think my skin has actually aged due to the stress of their passive attitude. In todays economic climate I would think that a company launching a new product would actually be attentive to a customer spending $300.00 and trusting them.
