 Only worth it in the starter kit. February 13, 2008
Got this in the starter kit and it sheds leaving single strands in my makeup compact, blushes and allover my face and clothes. Not really worth purchasing. It works OKAY but not great as it is poorly made.

When I first purchased this with the set it was okay. Now after about 15 applications it hurts and is very scratchy. Also noticed shedding a while back. I would definitely not purchase this product again.

Using this brush hurts...a lot. I noticed the second I started using it, especially because we're suppose to buff the powder in. I don't have very sensitive skin and it would hurt anyone who doesn't have skin like an alligator. The bristles are hard, not at all soft like other bristles. The only reason I have this is because I bought the kit. For the price that it cost to buy it separately, I would recommend buying a professional brush from Sephora. They have great brushes and best of all, you can try out the brush at the store. If it doesn't feel nice when you buff the bristles on your face (or the back of your hand if you're worried about cleanliness), don't get it. Sephora has a great collection of synthetic or animal hair brushes that would feel much better and will probably even work better. The hairs won't fall off every single time you use it either, unlike this brush. Make a better investment and buy a better brush.

The bristles are so rough I won't use this brush plus they tend to shed more than other brushes I have. A waste of money.

First of all, I know some other reviewers disliked the price but I got mine as a gift so that really wasn't a problem (hence no stars minused). This brush works wonders!! I was using different brushes to apply my Bare Escentuals foundation, blush, and mineral veil. But I switched to this only for the foundation and it made such a huge difference!! I came to school and one of my best friends IMMEDIATLY noticed, saying "ohmygosh, your make-up looks SO GOOD today!". It was really great to get that comment and this brush really is worth it!
